About Jabari Edwards

Jabari Edwards founded J5 GBL, LLC in 2010 and continues to drive operations at the project management firm as chief executive officer. In this position, he has filled the role of both construction and project manager on a range of complex jobs for several globally operating companies located throughout the nation. Jabari Edwards further serves as the majority owner of the insurance brokerage firm The Bridge Group, LLC, which he established in 2000 after acquiring it from Wells Fargo, as well as the majority owner of BH Properties and North Atlantic Security Company.

His nearly two-decade career as an entrepreneur has included time as co-owner of H&E Construction, during which time he emphasized the successful completion of residential and small scale commercial projects. Mr. Edwards studied cultural communications at the University of Phoenix in Arizona. Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, he has spent time on several philanthropic boards, including his role as director of the Mississippi Health Trust Fund board and vice chairman of the Columbus Housing Authority, to name only a few.
